Conveyancing Searches
We receive instructions to generate property searches on a regular basis throughout England and Wales. On the whole we provide Conveyancing searches for small, medium and large Solicitors and Licensed Conveyancing practices. To date, we have completed in excess of 80,000 searches which have typically consisted of;
Local Authority Searches
Land Registry Searches
Environmental Searches
Water Authority Searches
and various Ancillary Searches
It’s difficult to give a specific timescale for conveyancing searches as the length of time they will take depend on where the property is and which searches need to be conducted, as well as how long external bodies take to produce the required information. As a rough guide however, searches typically take around 5 to 15 days to complete.
It is worth noting that in the future, when the Case Management platform has been finished, we'll be offering property searches as a Free Service to the Conveyancing firms we work with. For example, if you send us Search Instructions, we will aim to return your good gesture by providing the platform free of charge.
