Having been established for over 20 years we’ve found ourselves providing conveyancing searches, iD checks, indemnities and conveyancing referrals. A key part of our suite of services is providing assistance to law firms looking to buy or sell, sourcing recriuitment candidates, and introduce Consultant Solicitors. 

 

Ultimately, if you're a prospective consultant solicitor there's an argument to be made that shopping around, and using a broker to do that on your behalf, will allow you to source the best consultancy deal. A deal on your terms, that ticks your boxes.  

 

Furthermore, I see there are two significant issues affecting law firms; the availability of marketing resources & a dependency on third party software.

We are offering a collaborative marketing approach to help secure work for law firms. We want to source three law firms, or pod's as we refer to them, in specific areas. If each pod member can introduce circa 50 searches, ID checks, and indemnities per month we will use the profit to employ a business development manager to work on your behalf.  

 

The BDM will work for you and generate work from mortgage brokers, estate agents and introducers. We will also funnel Consultant Solicitors enquiries to the pod members, where appropriate. 

 

Reduce your operational dependency on software providers

 

Secondly, are you operationally dependent on your software provider ? If they increase their prices, change their products, or in any way change their business model, will that affect you ? 

 

We, Legal Brokers Ltd, have built our own software tools to supply searches, iD checks, indemnities, quotes calculators and we have a baby case management system. What we want to do is spin this into a co-operative where we generate our income from the services we provide and correspondingly make the platform free to use.   

 

We are not, at this point, offering shares in the business, but we are offering a collaborative approach to software provision that both saves money and insulates law firms from software driven disruption. The software will be free to use and we will treat each pod member as a partner, rather than a customer. Furthermore, we will agree to act in your best interests at all times.

 

What do we need from you ? Simply put, patience. We will develop the software processes you want but we want your guidance on the systems you want to see. And if we ever decide to sell the business we will only do so if the majority of partners agree to it and receive renumerration in return.
